The Wood Awards: Excellence in British Architecture and Product Design has now launched its 2017 call for entries. Those involved in a UK-based wood project are invited to enter and have until 26 May to submit their applications.

The winners of the 45th annual Wood Awards: Excellence in British Architecture & Product Design were announced by design journalist and editor of Crafts magazine, Grant Gibson, on the 22nd November at Carpenters’ Hall.

The Carpenters’ Company will again be producing a Christmas card in full high quality colours.

The Mercers’ Company are hosting the 20th National Open Art Exhibition at the Mercers’ Hall from 27 October to 4 November.

The Master for the year is Alistair Gregory-Smith.
