Carpenters Primary School
The Carpenters’ Company’s educational interests include close links with the Carpenters Primary School in Stratford, East London.
The school is built on a site next to the original Carpenters’ Institute, and close to the Carpenters’ and Dockland Centre.
Members of the Carpenters’ Company provide valuable assistance to the school by acting as governors or providing administrative help.
In addition, regular grants made by the Carpenters’ Company are used to buy items of educational benefit not provided by public funds.
The Master of the Carpenters’ Company presents the prizes at the school’s annual prize giving, and the senior class is invited to an annual Christmas party in Carpenters’ Hall.
