How to Apply

Carpenters’ Company Charitable Trust – educational grants

You can apply for a grant towards the cost of a wood-related education course to be taken in the UK. The maximum grant available is £2,400. Grants cannot be made for courses that have already been taken.

Please send us a completed application form and the names and contact details of two referees by the end of June at the latest. All applications are considered in July. You will be told of our decision in early August.

Grants are considered every November and you should submit your application form by the last working day of October. The maximum grant available is £3,250.

Applications are considered on a number of criteria, including:

the type of work the organisation does;

its financial position;

its procedures to ensure good practice; and

if the project will meet a recognised need.
